My Bio
Hello, all. This is Cas. I have decided to try and actually keep up to date with posting of my artwork and photography finally instead of just my literature, so here's my corner of the 'net. As for photography, I like broken things and I like playing with make up and getting some pretty gnarly looks and then do self-portraits in a way. As for art, I'm working on realism right now even though my natural state is haphazard Max Beckmann. For literature, you can take a gander at my YWS profile and look at my portfolio. I write mostly speculative fiction and free verse poetry. You should find some of my early drafts on the site, but, admittedly, if you want my top notch stuff, you'd have to get your hands on some of my published work. :) Get in touch if you're interested in actually spending cash on me. I love it when people do that.

There are a finite, but immensely large amount of stories about people who are different. Today I want to talk about one certain type of different people. Before then, I want to compare them to the different people we have looked up to over the years, in books, comics, television, movies, art, and all else. I'm sure at least a few characters pop to mind. The psychic. Twins with special powers. The reincarnations of important people. The person who just doesn't give up even if the odds aren't in their favor. The kid with the imaginary--or not so imaginary--friends. The person who can see across dimensions, across time, across realms. The peop
